Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4005, Seating: 1005, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexis Farrell kicked off to start the match. Simon Flint received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ray Dennis came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Flint slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After 14 played minutes Eau Claire United got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Ryan. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eau Claire United's goalkeeper Ramon Correa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruben Randle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Correa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Rankin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Basil Kurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Robbie Ortega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ray Dennis. The goal made the score 2-1. 34 minutes into the game, Joe Becerra lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Ray Dennis. Robbie Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Becerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ray Dennis came out and tried to block the shot, but Joe Becerra slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 41st minute. Robbie Ortega in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ray Dennis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Flint to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Eau Claire United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ray Addison hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tahata FC's zone, Carson Williamson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Dennis came out of the goal and Carson Williamson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Simon Flint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 minutes, Mario Parsons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eau Claire United and the Tahata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tahata FC booed when Eau Claire United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Parsons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucien Daly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Tahata FC's Stefan Rankin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramon Correa. Ramon Correa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Robbie Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Dennis having to interfere. Tahata FC's Ray Dennis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Ortega in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Robbie Ortega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Ray Dennis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucien Daly's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ramon Correa firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Robbie Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eau Claire United's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Ortega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Dennis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
