If Truman Parham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roman Busby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murray Altman in the 20th minute of play. When Aaron Hall, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wilton Salas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aaron Hall struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Wilton Salas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Beach AFC. In the 32nd minute, one of Long Beach AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Long Beach AFC. Taylor Flores placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 35th minute, Murray Altman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beloit FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Aaron Hall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Salas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Aaron Hall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Pierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Wilton Salas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Alford to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Long Beach AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Landon Bristol to maneuver through the defense. Landon Bristol's late challenge caught a Beloit FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Landon Bristol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Landon Bristol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murray Altman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Hall in the 73rd minute of play forced Beloit FC's goalkeeper Wilton Salas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Long Beach AFC's zone, Truman Parham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Busby came out of the goal and Truman Parham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Busby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Truman Parham in the 79th minute. Kenneth Pierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Wilton Salas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilton Salas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kenneth Pierre's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beloit FC's goalkeeper Wilton Salas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Manuel Hope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Beloit FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Long Beach AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
