Truman Humphries charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Truman Humphries the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Port Jefferson AFC's Truman Humphries got a free kick in the 30th minute. Wilmer Ramsey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Taylor Raines came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilmer Ramsey slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Ervin Tillman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor Raines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Ervin Tillman took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Taylor Raines to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Port Jefferson AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Pedro Morgan hit a great ball. Wilmer Ramsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Taylor Raines made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Port Jefferson AFC's zone, Wilmer Ramsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taylor Raines came out of the goal and Wilmer Ramsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Wilmer Ramsey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuba FC and the Port Jefferson AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilmer Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Taylor Raines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilmer Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Minor during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ervin Tillman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taylor Raines having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ervin Tillman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ervin Tillman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taylor Raines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Port Jefferson AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cuba FC:s goal. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Cuba FC. Sean Montgomery stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Taylor Raines. 5-0.
