In the 6th minute Calvin Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Gallardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Calvin Pollard made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nashville AFC's Marco Gallardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Nashville AFC's zone, Calvin Pollard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience was convinced that Stephan Singer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Gallardo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Calvin Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Gallardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Felipe Skinner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nashville AFC and the Olympiakos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohammad Sargent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marco Gallardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Carrasco during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute Andreas Myrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Doud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Calvin Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Gallardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul McCain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Paul McCain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Gallardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul McCain in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Gavin Stacy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nashville AFC and the Olympiakos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavin Stacy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Nashville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Singer came free, but Marco Gallardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Olympiakos's Stephan Singer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Gallardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gavin Stacy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Gallardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohammad Sargent's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Marco Gallardo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Calvin Pollard sent off a good shot on target. Stephan Singer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Gallardo having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Mohammad Sargent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiakos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohammad Sargent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammad Sargent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marco Gallardo made a huge save. If Mohammad Sargent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohammad Sargent struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marco Gallardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympiakos. If Stephan Singer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Singer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Gallardo having to interfere. Marco Gallardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammad Sargent, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Basil Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calvin Pollard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calvin Pollard scored 0-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Gallardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 88 in the game by Calvin Pollard from a close distance when the talented Marco Gallardo managed to make a qualified save. Nashville AFC's players were relieved. In the 92nd play minute Calvin Pollard came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marco Gallardo. 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Mohammad Sargent kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Gallardo. That made the score 0-4 in the 95 minute of play. Olympiakos played a much better game than Nashville AFC and deserved their victory. The Nashville AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
