Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kermit Magee got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th match minute, Ken Caryl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Sargent to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Neil Sorenson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Dorsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Neil Sorenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hans Dorsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Hollis's Neil Sorenson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hans Dorsey. Hans Dorsey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Hollis's Karl Armstrong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Hollis from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute of the match Ken Caryl got a corner. Hollis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walton Lentz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Walton Lentz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hollis's Karl Armstrong did a great save. After a rather tough play, Ken Caryl's Scotty Lawson got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hans Dorsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kermit Magee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kermit Magee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Dorsey was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Hans Dorsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ken Caryl's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hollis had won, even though Ken Caryl had held more of the ball.
