With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett McGuire in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristofer Lawrence saved Syosset FC from getting behind. Jorge Phelps kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Charlotte FC's Brett McGuire in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Syosset FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Syosset FC defense, Cason Loomis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristofer Lawrence. The Syosset FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristofer Lawrence should have stopped the shot. Carlo Acuna made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Len King sent off a good shot on target. When Wallace Huber came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Syosset FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wallace Huber couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wallace Huber to strike the kick off in the second half. Cason Loomis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristofer Lawrence came out and tried to block the shot, but Cason Loomis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. Carlo Acuna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wallace Huber went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Len King scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Acuna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 77 minutes, Brett McGuire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlotte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett McGuire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Trenton Esparza notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Syosset FC's Kristofer Lawrence. Kristofer Lawrence was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd match minute, Charlotte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill McCord to maneuver through the defense. Brett McGuire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Kristofer Lawrence when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlo Acuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wallace Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Charlotte FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
