The supporters of Detroit FC booed when Cathedral City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Patton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Dawkins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Myles Bachman came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Cathedral City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myles Bachman couldn't finish the play. Cathedral City AFC played a much better game than Detroit FC and deserved their victory. The Detroit FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
