Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Werner Sylvester started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ferry Pass's Duke Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ferry Pass from getting a goal against them. After 6 minutes, Bryon Clayton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferry Pass and the Edwardsville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Ferry Pass got a freekick which was hit by Bryon Clayton. Edwardsville's Reed Deering came free and shot a quick shot against goal 8 minutes in the game, fortunately Duke Higgins had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Porter Orozco came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ferry Pass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porter Orozco couldn't finish the play. When Porter Orozco fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferry Pass's protests and gave Porter Orozco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Edwardsville booed when Ferry Pass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porter Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Joseph Hendrickson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duke Higgins skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Ferry Pass's Jefferson Anthony nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sean Braxton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ferry Pass's Duke Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ferry Pass from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reed Deering got free with Duke Higgins in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Ferry Pass's goalkeeper Duke Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Uhl. In the 37th minute, Jefferson Anthony got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sean Braxton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Kaufman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Braxton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aidan Parham, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Reed Deering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aidan Parham to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Edwardsville got a freekick which was hit by Ross Newsome. In the 56th minute Reed Deering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aidan Parham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferry Pass's supporters rose to their feet, but Aidan Parham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean Braxton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Edwardsville's Sean Braxton got control of the ball when Aidan Parham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duke Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Sylvester in the 67th minute of play. Duke Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Wiley, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Werner Sylvester notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ferry Pass's Duke Higgins. Duke Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 73 minutes, Aidan Parham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferry Pass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aidan Parham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Kaufman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sean Braxton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Sylvester in the 77th minute of play forced Ferry Pass's goalkeeper Duke Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duke Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Earl Wiley went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the game, Quinn Stuart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferry Pass's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edwardsville the free kick. Quinn Stuart hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Joseph Hendrickson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duke Higgins skillfully saved the ball. Reed Deering recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrick Mayer lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Ferry Pass. Aidan Parham stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sean Braxton. 2-2. After 94 played minutes Ferry Pass got a freekick which was hit by Bryon Clayton. Joseph Hendrickson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duke Higgins. Ferry Pass's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferry Pass were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Edwardsville to leave the ground with a draw.
