Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Monte Cantrell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nassau Bay FC's Monte Cantrell was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monte Cantrell in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Dawkins saved Detroit FC from getting behind. Monte Cantrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Dawkins having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Monte Cantrell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rigoberto Dawkins, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Lyle Fleming made a precise shot to the right of Boyce Padilla. Nassau Bay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rigoberto Dawkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Cantrell in the 29th minute of play. Alexander Pittman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rigoberto Dawkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Monte Cantrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Detroit FC's Ted Ferreira got a free kick in the 48th minute. In the 51st minute of the match Nassau Bay FC got a corner. Detroit FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sanford Rossi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sanford Rossi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rigoberto Dawkins quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Boyce Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyle Fleming, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Rigoberto Dawkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Pittman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Pittman took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Dawkins. Rigoberto Dawkins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Nassau Bay FC booed when Detroit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Vogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nassau Bay FC's zone, Aurelio Cooper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyce Padilla came out of the goal and Aurelio Cooper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Dawkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monte Cantrell in the 82nd minute of the match. Rigoberto Dawkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Pittman in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Monte Cantrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Dawkins was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 88 minutes, Tyler Hays mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Detroit FC and the Nassau Bay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Detroit FC's Tyler Hays got a free kick in the 88th minute. Rigoberto Dawkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Pittman in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Monte Cantrell made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Dawkins. Detroit FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nassau Bay FC fully deserved thier win.
