The supporters of FC Cincinnati booed when Nassau Bay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wyatt Holmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, FC Cincinnati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Crouch to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Nassau Bay FC's Sanford Rossi tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Milan Bland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Cantrell in the 8th minute of play. If Alexander Pittman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Pittman in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milan Bland saved FC Cincinnati from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Monte Cantrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Bland was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murray Spence got free with Boyce Padilla in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Simons struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Boyce Padilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cincinnati. Murray Spence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Boyce Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Frank Simons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cincinnati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Simons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Simons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Padilla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Cincinnati's Paul Crouch got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alexander Pittman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nassau Bay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Pittman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milan Bland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Nassau Bay FC's Sanford Rossi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Cincinnati. Alexander Pittman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Monte Cantrell lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Milan Bland. Frank Simons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milan Bland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Pittman in the 90th minute. Boyce Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murray Spence, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Nassau Bay FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Cincinnati.
