Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Myles Bachman made the kick off and thus started the match. Cathedral City AFC's Myles Bachman got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Jefferson Anthony ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hal Simpson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cathedral City AFC's Hal Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Kaufman in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Patton in the 12th minute of play forced Ferry Pass's goalkeeper Duke Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aidan Parham came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ferry Pass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aidan Parham couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Cathedral City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Velasco. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Velasco during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cathedral City AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Peter Velasco hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Philip Kaufman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hal Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Anthony in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Cathedral City AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Elliott Hinkle hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cathedral City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Porter Orozco came free, but Hal Simpson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Cathedral City AFC's Duke Higgins threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Myles Bachman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aidan Parham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reed Henderson made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cody Santos. A collision led to Ferry Pass getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gerry Lefler hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Cathedral City AFC's Duke Higgins threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Myles Bachman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aidan Parham was the one to do the kick off. Aidan Parham who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Hal Simpson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hal Simpson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson Anthony in the 56th minute. If Jefferson Anthony had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reed Henderson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Ferry Pass's Jefferson Anthony nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hal Simpson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Philip Kaufman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Ferry Pass's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Bachman came free, but Duke Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duke Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Norris in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Jefferson Anthony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duke Higgins came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Cathedral City AFC's Lucien Norris. But to his dismay, Lucien Norris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Norris in the 82nd minute of play forced Ferry Pass's goalkeeper Duke Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Cathedral City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Patton. When Aidan Parham came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ferry Pass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aidan Parham couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Cody Santos in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ferry Pass's Jefferson Anthony. When the final whistle sounded Ferry Pass left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cathedral City AFC.
