Brice Medley helped the player get up and apologised. Dominique Ash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Logan Huntley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrick Carr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Bowers in the 15th minute of play. Dennis AFC's attentive Parker McLean managed to snatch the ball when Stacey Fisher made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Jason Tyler's late challenge caught a Liverpool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Tyler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dennis AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jason Tyler hit a great ball. Stacey Fisher was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Milan Handy with Samuel Huntley as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 32nd minute, Dominique Ash left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Leif Deering received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rodrick Carr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Medley in the 38th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Rodrick Carr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrick Carr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Huntley in the 40th minute of the match. Rodrick Carr came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Dennis AFC's Jason Tyler. But to his dismay, Jason Tyler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Leif Deering recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrick Carr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Handy in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Dennis AFC's Leif Deering nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrick Carr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brice Medley to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Leif Deering ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrick Carr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 59th minute Brice Medley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrick Carr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrick Carr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Huntley, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With his leg Rodrick Carr managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Dennis AFC's Leif Deering fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the game, Dennis AFC's Samuel Huntley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrick Carr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 67 played minutes Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Jonathon Hathaway. Rocco Reyes's late challenge caught a Dennis AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 88th minute of the match, Brice Medley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrick Carr saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Deering got free with Rodrick Carr in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrick Carr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Huntley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute of the game Milan Handy made a throw-in which Brice Medley played forward. When the match was over Dennis AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liverpool throughout the match.
