In the 31st minute, Songmingiisthe best's Isaiah Valentine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Hutton. Julian Hutton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linden's goalkeeper Julian Hutton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Isaiah Valentine took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Julian Hutton to make any attempt to save it. Isaiah Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Curry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isaiah Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Kidd was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Osvaldo Kidd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Linden's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiah Valentine came free, but Julian Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Songmingiisthe best's Warren Crozier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Songmingiisthe best's Isaiah Valentine got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaiah Valentine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Hutton having to make a save. When Brendon Roy fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linden's protests and gave Brendon Roy a yellow card for diving instead. Isaiah Valentine took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Hutton. Julian Hutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Isaiah Valentine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Hutton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. A hard, long distance shot from Jarod Beebe flew over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Isaiah Valentine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaiah Valentine in the 84th minute of play. Warren Crozier kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Junior Gates kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cesar Cody showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Marion, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Songmingiisthe best had played much better football throughout.
