Angelo McIntyre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linden. The audience was convinced that Marcellus Ackerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Hutton was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Julian Hutton came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Coudersport's Rodolfo Wilkins. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Wilkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Linden's Julian Hutton got control of the ball when Marcellus Ackerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Valenzuela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Hutton having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Linden's goal looked a bit too open when Marcellus Ackerman came free, but Julian Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Hutton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcellus Ackerman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 19 minutes, Charlton Purcell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coudersport and the Linden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Coudersport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlton Purcell to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Linden's goal looked a bit too open when Charlton Purcell came free, but Julian Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcellus Ackerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Hutton. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcellus Ackerman in the 30th minute of play forced Linden's goalkeeper Julian Hutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendon Roy hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Coudersport booed when Linden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Kidd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcellus Ackerman in the 35th minute of the match. Julian Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcellus Ackerman in the 37th minute of play. Marcellus Ackerman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Casey Friedman fired a really elegant long shot, but Julian Hutton threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 46th match minute, Linden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Roy to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Kidd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcellus Ackerman in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Hutton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcellus Ackerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jaime Valenzuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellus Ackerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Jaime Valenzuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linden's goalkeeper Julian Hutton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Coudersport's Marcellus Ackerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 78 minutes into the match, Linden's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Valenzuela came free, but Julian Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Marcellus Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coudersport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcellus Ackerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Valenzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Hutton having to interfere. Julian Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcellus Ackerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Linden's Julian Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellus Ackerman in the 85th minute of play. Charlton Purcell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Julian Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellus Ackerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coudersport's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
