Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Micah Tompkins made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match Devon Jamison sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Lyon skillfully saved the ball. Van Draper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Roger Locke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darin Correa might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Locke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darin Correa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Van Draper fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roger Locke, passed just outside the right post. Darin Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eusebio Lyon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Micah Tompkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Lyon was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Micah Tompkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebio Lyon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micah Tompkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micah Tompkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Josef Tang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Eusebio Lyon managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Lancaster FC's Josef Tang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Josef Tang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eusebio Lyon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Miller Place FC's Van Draper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Locke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Van Draper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Locke having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lancaster FC's Rex Dutton got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute Micah Tompkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Lyon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lancaster FC's Roger Locke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Correa in the 89th minute of play. When Josef Tang came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Lancaster FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Tang couldn't finish the play. In the 99th minute Woody Murdock suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 100th minute, Jospeh Marsh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miller Place FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
