Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Theodore Chen kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Woodstock defense, Terrence Epps kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Van Ortega. The Woodstock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Van Ortega should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrence Epps in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Van Ortega saved Woodstock from getting behind. Van Ortega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tory McCord's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Tory McCord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Terrence Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Puente Valley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Epps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tory McCord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Tory McCord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Van Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Van Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Epps in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Blair Garland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Puente Valley and the Woodstock players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Woodstock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Keenan to maneuver through the defense. Terrence Epps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Van Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Woodstock booed when West Puente Valley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrence Epps didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tory McCord managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Puente Valley's supporters rose to their feet, but Tory McCord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Van Ortega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tory McCord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Van Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory McCord in the 39th minute of the match. Terrence Epps scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Van Ortega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tory McCord came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the West Puente Valley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tory McCord couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tory McCord to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Woodstock's Roscoe Keenan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd match minute, Woodstock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Keenan to maneuver through the defense. Tory McCord received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Van Ortega came out and tried to block the shot, but Tory McCord slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 66th minute. Tory McCord recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terrence Epps could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Van Ortega made a huge save. Tory McCord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Van Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tory McCord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Woodstock's Van Ortega got control of the ball when Terrence Epps tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Woodstock's goal looked a bit too open when Tory McCord came free, but Van Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tory McCord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tory McCord in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Van Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
