Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolfo Parks started the match with the kick off. Van Draper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marcellus Metcalf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miller Place FC's Eusebio Lyon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Parks in the 7th minute of play. If Darin Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Shelton Corona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairview and the Miller Place FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Miller Place FC booed when Fairview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelton Corona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Fairview's Adolfo Parks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Lyon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusebio Lyon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Parks in the 18th minute of play. Van Draper struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Marcellus Metcalf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miller Place FC. Darin Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marcellus Metcalf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Lyon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Darin Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darin Correa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darin Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marcellus Metcalf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Adolfo Parks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miller Place FC's Eusebio Lyon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcellus Metcalf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Correa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Fairview's goal looked a bit too open when Van Draper came free, but Marcellus Metcalf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Ralph Alvarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairview and the Miller Place FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Ralph Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fairview's Stuart Dent shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eusebio Lyon but with some difficulty. Darin Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Van Draper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miller Place FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Van Draper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcellus Metcalf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Fairview's Adolfo Parks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusebio Lyon. That made the score 1-1 after 85 minutes of play. Ralph Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eusebio Lyon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Lyon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Parks in the 90th minute of play. Eusebio Lyon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Parks, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Van Draper fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miller Place FC's protests and gave Van Draper a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, Miller Place FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Van Draper to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
