The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes in the game, Adolfo Parks fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Van Ortega having to interfere. Ralph Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Van Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Parks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tad Toney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Metcalf having to interfere. Adolfo Parks struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Van Ortega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairview. Van Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Parks in the 42nd minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Parks made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Adolfo Parks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Van Ortega was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Adolfo Parks's late challenge caught a Woodstock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Parks helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Adolfo Parks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Woodstock's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Parks came free, but Van Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Mckinley LeBlanc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairview and the Woodstock players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Parks in the 74th minute of play forced Woodstock's goalkeeper Van Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Parks in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Van Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralph Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Van Ortega having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fairview were the better team. Fairview's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
