Nick Clinton might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stacy Stephenson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Clinton ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute of the match Todd Abernathy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stacy Stephenson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stacy Stephenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyce Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, South Glens Falls's Theo Burch got a free kick in the 20th minute. Wolf Trap's Boyce Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renaldo Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolf Trap's Benjamin Costello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Wolf Trap from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Boyce Franco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stacy Stephenson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolf Trap's goalkeeper Benjamin Costello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stacy Stephenson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Clinton's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, South Glens Falls's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Clinton came free, but Stacy Stephenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Lugo's late challenge caught a Wolf Trap's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Tomas Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Wolf Trap were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boyce Franco in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stacy Stephenson saved South Glens Falls from getting behind. Renaldo Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Costello having to interfere. Boyce Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Stacy Stephenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Renaldo Campbell came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the South Glens Falls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renaldo Campbell couldn't finish the play. The South Glens Falls supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wolf Trap's performance. The match ended with a win for Wolf Trap.
