Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Glen Rangel started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leroy Kessler in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick McNeal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmi AFC's Glen Rangel got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ethan Hartman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jess Gabriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ethan Hartman struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Lamar Toth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boricua Islanders. Patrick McNeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glen Rangel's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Damien Rowley fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boricua Islanders's protests and gave Damien Rowley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Damien Rowley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ethan Hartman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lamar Toth having to make a save. In the 31stth minute of the game Leroy Kessler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boricua Islanders's Patrick McNeal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leroy Kessler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick McNeal having to interfere. Dennis Belanger's late challenge caught a Boricua Islanders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Belanger helped the player get up and apologised. Dennis Belanger kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The wind increased when Jess Gabriel made the kick off in the second half. Ethan Hartman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Carmi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Jameson. Leroy Kesslers short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Patrick McNeal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leroy Kessler came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patrick McNeal could save by the left post. Rufus Knapp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Carmi AFC's Leroy Kessler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick McNeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Boricua Islanders's goalkeeper Patrick McNeal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leroy Kessler. Leroy Kessler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Patrick McNeal made a huge save. 1-2 became the score in the 94th minute when Jess Gabriel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carmi AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
