Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kasey Holden kicked off to start the match. Wallace Pagan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Olin Carlson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wallace Pagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Bassett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Reggie Ransom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reggie Ransom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Bassett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Bassett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wallace Pagan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olin Carlson having to interfere. When Tim Bassett came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Paynesville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Bassett couldn't finish the play. Wallace Pagan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, North Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Kasey Holden came free, but Reggie Ransom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luke McClelland fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Miami's protests and gave Luke McClelland a yellow card for diving instead. Wallace Pagan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Olin Carlson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olin Carlson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wallace Pagan's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Kasey Holden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Miami's Reggie Ransom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tim Bassett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Bassett might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reggie Ransom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tim Bassett ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, Kasey Holden notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of North Miami's Reggie Ransom. Reggie Ransom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wallace Pagan was the one to do the kick off. Reggie Ransom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasey Holden's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Tim Bassett's late challenge caught a North Miami's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Bassett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Paynesville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Bassett to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Kasey Holden reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reggie Ransom. The goal made the score 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tim Bassett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paynesville's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Bassett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reggie Ransom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Paynesville booed when North Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quincy Trotter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Bassett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Reggie Ransom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Bassett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasey Holden hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, North Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bret Couch to maneuver through the defense. If Kasey Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. North Miami's Reggie Ransom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasey Holden in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Kasey Holden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reggie Ransom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paynesville's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
