Sturgeon Bay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Bowles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Cobi Cleveland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Sturgeon Bay's Cobi Cleveland got a free kick in the 18th minute. Omar Bowles took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ross Person. Ross Person dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Adolfo Nesbitt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Omar Bowles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ross Person tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Bowles in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ross Person saved Leeds United FC from getting behind. Timmy Youngblood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Kearney in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Rupert Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds United FC and the Sturgeon Bay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Jones to maneuver through the defense. Rupert Jones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Timmy Youngblood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Bowles in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ross Person prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ross Person took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Bowles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Omar Bowles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leeds United FC's Ross Person was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Sturgeon Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Jones came free, but Timmy Youngblood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmy Youngblood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kirk Kearney in the 78th minute. When Stanford Mooney came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sturgeon Bay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanford Mooney couldn't finish the play. If Cobi Cleveland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Kirk Kearney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timmy Youngblood came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Leeds United FC's Kirk Kearney. But to his dismay, Kirk Kearney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
