Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Randall Covington kicked off to start the match. Sandy Houser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason Ramos in the 5th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Johnsonburg got a freekick which was hit by Louis McNeil. Trey Rushing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Randall Covington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louis McNeil hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Guerneville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Neely to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Johnsonburg booed when Guerneville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avery Sexton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Oren Matson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Johnsonburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oren Matson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Mason Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerneville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mason Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mason Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Randall Covington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sandy Houser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Hess had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Trey Rushing from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Randall Covington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trey Rushing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Randall Covington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandy Houser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randall Covington was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Covington in the 69th minute of play forced Johnsonburg's goalkeeper Sandy Houser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Hess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oren Matson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Randall Covington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandy Houser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randall Covington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandy Houser having to interfere. Jerome Neely kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Sandy Houser made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mason Ramos sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Johnsonburg getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Wally Dodge hit a great ball. Sandy Houser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Covington in the 89th minute of play. If Randall Covington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randall Covington in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandy Houser saved Johnsonburg from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Asher Britt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Darell Childers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johnsonburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Darell Childers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Hess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
