The referee ignored Tumwater FC's protests and gave Richie Perkins a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tumwater FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Richie Perkins hit a great ball. In the 4th minute of the match J.C. Thurston shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Terence Romero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 5 played minutes Tumwater FC got a freekick which was hit by Marc Overton. If Damon Justice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terence Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Tyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Damon Justice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Romero having to interfere. Jermaine Schaffer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. J.C. Thurston was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jal AFC's J.C. Thurston couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tumwater FC. Earl Landreth succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Justice in the 25th minute of play forced Tumwater FC's goalkeeper Terence Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jermaine Schaffer charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jermaine Schaffer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Jermaine Schaffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jermaine Schaffer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes of play, Jal AFC's Damon Justice made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terence Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Earl Landreth was the one to do the kick off. Damon Justice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jal AFC's Filiberto Tyler got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jermaine Schaffer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Filiberto Tyler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Romero having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Jermaine Schaffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damon Justice's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Terence Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th match minute, Tumwater FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Jenkins to maneuver through the defense. Damon Justice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Terence Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Tyler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Terence Romero was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Damon Justice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Earl Landreth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jal AFC's J.C. Thurston couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tumwater FC. Jal AFC played a much better game than Tumwater FC and deserved their victory. The Tumwater FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
