Olin Benoit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lonnie Wilkins in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Sea Dragons booed when Yukon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Whitney Boswell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sea Dragons's Ace Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence Stroud in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, one of Yukon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yukon. Lonnie Wilkins struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Olin Benoit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sea Dragons. Olin Benoit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roscoe Rader, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes Yukon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noel Barrios who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Sea Dragons's Andre Willis got a free kick in the 45th minute. A hard shot by Zackary Elmore from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Ace Santiago's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Roscoe Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sea Dragons were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terence Stroud made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lonnie Wilkins got free with Olin Benoit in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Yukon's Myles Durham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ace Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Myles Durham came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Yukon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myles Durham couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Roscoe Rader managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sea Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Roscoe Rader was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olin Benoit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sea Dragons's Saul Edmondson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olin Benoit but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Myles Durham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yukon's supporters rose to their feet, but Myles Durham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ace Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lamar Altman's late challenge caught a Yukon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lamar Altman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Sea Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar Altman to maneuver through the defense. Sea Dragons's Ace Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence Stroud in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
