Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Columbia City AFC's Len Steiner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lexington FC's Napoleon Kimble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Steiner in the 3rd minute of play. Dennis Pringle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asher Campbell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Asher Campbell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Acuna in the 8th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Columbia City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Hollandsworth. Drew Acuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asher Campbell having to interfere. If Dennis Pringle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Pringle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asher Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Schroeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dennis Pringle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Napoleon Kimble was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Len Steiner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Rey Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Napoleon Kimble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drew Acuna scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asher Campbell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 minutes of play, Columbia City AFC's Rey Santana made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Napoleon Kimble was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Drew Acuna made the kick off in the second half. Asher Campbell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Pringle's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Len Steiner sped through Lexington FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Napoleon Kimble. 59 minutes into the match, Lexington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Len Steiner came free, but Napoleon Kimble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Lexington FC's Dale Montes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 64th minute, Drew Acuna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Len Steiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rey Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Napoleon Kimble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Dennis Pringle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Asher Campbell, 3-2. Dennis Pringle struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Asher Campbell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lexington FC. Asher Campbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Acuna in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Lexington FC booed when Columbia City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Ware didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lexington FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Columbia City AFC.
