Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Drew Acuna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Denny Banning came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Bonifay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denny Banning couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Denny Banning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Lexington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Carmichael to maneuver through the defense. Bonifay's Andre Padgett got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Bonifay's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Pringle came free, but Kurtis Karros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lexington FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aurelio Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Bernardo Palacios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Drew Acuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Byron Anthony was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bonifay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lexington FC the free kick. A collision led to Bonifay getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Byron Anthony hit a great ball. Andre Padgett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Kimble read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Andre Padgett made the kick off in the second half. With 61 minutes on the clock, Dale Montes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lexington FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Bonifay. Bernardo Palacios stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Napoleon Kimble. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Padgett in the 71st minute of play forced Lexington FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Kimble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Padgett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Kimble having to interfere. Dennis Pringle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Kurtis Karros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dennis Pringle succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 88th playminute. Andre Padgett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Kimble having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bernie Schroeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lexington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernie Schroeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurtis Karros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Pringle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Kurtis Karros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
