The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trent Bragg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Lamb, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Blister FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milo Doud came free, but Trent Bragg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Othello's Dario Bean got control of the ball when Dexter Payne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Rosenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jorge Gallardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Trent Bragg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Jorge Gallardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blister FC's Trent Bragg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Othello's Dario Bean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cary Burkhart in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Dexter Payne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blister FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Othello the free kick. When Dexter Payne came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Blister FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dexter Payne couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Gallardo made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Milton Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Othello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milton Ruiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trent Bragg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Dustin Brady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jorge Gallardo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Othello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Gallardo couldn't finish the play. Milo Doud was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Trent Bragg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milo Doud, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Milton Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trent Bragg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Blister FC's goalkeeper Trent Bragg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matt Lamb. Othello's Ivan Russ got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Daron Clark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Gallardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Blister FC booed when Othello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noah Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Othello's zone, Cary Burkhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Bean came out of the goal and Cary Burkhart tried to chip the ball over his head. Trent Bragg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 95th minute Jorge Gallardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trent Bragg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Othello's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
