Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blaine's Wendell Bowles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The race fc fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when race fc's Kenneth Spangler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clint Cornelius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Sanchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Blaine defense, Kenneth Spangler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Sanchez. The Blaine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Sanchez should have stopped the shot. The supporters of race fc booed when Blaine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Weber didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clint Cornelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as race fc's Kenneth Spangler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Sanchez. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the game, Clint Cornelius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Roberto Sanchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clint Cornelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Sanchez having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Kenneth Spangler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. race fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Spangler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Clint Cornelius managed to get in a good position for a shot. race fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Clint Cornelius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Sanchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Blaine's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clint Cornelius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Clint Cornelius struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Roberto Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for race fc.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Forrest McCall was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, race fc's Dominic McNally got a free kick in the 51st minute. Antony McKinnon made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Owen Alford sent off a good shot on target. Forrest McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Roberto Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Jonas Burks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. race fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blaine the free kick. In the 60th match minute, race fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Burks to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind race fc's goalkeeper Antony McKinnon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfred Wall charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfred Wall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Blaine got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Wall. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blaine's goalkeeper Roberto Sanchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Burks in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Sanchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clint Cornelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Roberto Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic McNally took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Sanchez. Blaine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Clint Cornelius made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Sanchez. Blaine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Kenneth Spangler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Sanchez having to interfere.
