After a rather tough play, Blaine's Domenico Calloway got a free kick in the 7th minute. real madrid's Maurice Kerr got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. real madrid's Graig Belcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wendell Bowles in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Oren Ciauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Val Hanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Val Hanna in the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie Weber during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Charlie Weber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Blaine's Brett Benitez got a free kick in the 25th minute. Maurice Kerr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roberto Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Sanchez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by real madrid's Val Hanna. But to his dismay, Val Hanna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Blaine's Domenico Calloway got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Roberto Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Kerr in the 33rd minute of play. Val Hanna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Sanchez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Val Hanna managed to get in a good position for a shot. real madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Val Hanna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Sanchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Val Hanna made a kick off. real madrid's Val Hanna got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurice Kerr in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Sanchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blaine's Roberto Sanchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Blaine from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Maurice Kerr put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Sanchez. 69 minutes into the match, Blaine's goal looked a bit too open when Val Hanna came free, but Roberto Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Wendell Bowles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Graig Belcher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Val Hanna fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roberto Sanchez, passed just outside the right post. In the 86th minute, Val Hanna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. real madrid were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Blaine to leave the ground with a draw.
