Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Shawn Cornett came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Cornett couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Robbie Swain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Ford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Ford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josiah Salter in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Damon Platt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Ford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Mims charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Mims the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Mims hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Solomon McNeil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Edward Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, paralympiacos's goalkeeper Blaine Kerr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stuart Rhodes. In the 23rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Solomon McNeil went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of paralympiacos booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Cornett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stuart Rhodes scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blaine Kerr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 minutes of play, paralympiacos's Josiah Salter made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Ford was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Josiah Salter came free, but Alfred Ford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Ford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Ford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josiah Salter in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Josiah Salter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Ford. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josiah Salter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Damon Platt scored 1-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Ford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half paralympiacos were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Swain to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, paralympiacos's Alfred Ford threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Josiah Salter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the game, Robbie Swain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfred Ford. Robbie Swain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Alfred Ford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Alfred Ford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Platt in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, paralympiacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Mims to maneuver through the defense. When Mexico's Stuart Rhodes in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye paralympiacos's goalie prevented a goal. When German Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. Mexico's Alfred Ford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Blaine Kerr came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Stuart Rhodes. But to his dismay, Stuart Rhodes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Alfred Ford was a little too slow when Robbie Swain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-7. After 79 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Solomon McNeil. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Swain came free, but Alfred Ford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Ford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josiah Salter, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mexico's Alfred Ford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Mims in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Robbie Swain took a quick shot and it went in 2-8 without a chance for Alfred Ford to make any attempt to save it. In the 91st minute, Teodoro Mims ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Ford was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-9. Teodoro Mims recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. paralympiacos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
