When Winston Crosby fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milwaukie FC's protests and gave Winston Crosby a yellow card for diving instead. Otis Leal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hal McNeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 35th match minute, Milwaukie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Cleveland to maneuver through the defense. Otis Leal made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Val Hanna sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Val Hanna got free with Otis Leal in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
