Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Javier Ackerman got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Javier Ackerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Burr Ridge FC's goalkeeper Robert Cagle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archie Hoffman. After 6 played minutes Crowley got a freekick which was hit by Victor Orlinsky. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarvis Horn in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Sanders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Crowley getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kent Mabry hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Crowley's zone, Jarvis Horn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Sanders came out of the goal and Jarvis Horn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Javier Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burr Ridge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Ackerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarvis Horn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Sanders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Javier Ackerman's late challenge caught a Crowley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Ackerman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Burr Ridge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Ackerman to maneuver through the defense. Archie Hoffman in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robert Cagle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claude Lozano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Cagle having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Burr Ridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Paulson. Burr Ridge FC's Robert Cagle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Burr Ridge FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute of the match Jon Schneider shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmy Sanders showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jimmy Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Ackerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jarvis Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Ackerman took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Sanders. Jimmy Sanders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Burr Ridge FC's goalkeeper Robert Cagle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Crowley's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dane Land in the 54th minute. Burr Ridge FC's Javier Ackerman got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aidan Stallings hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Burr Ridge FC's Robert Cagle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Lozano in the 68th minute of play. Damien Bartley kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jarvis Horn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jimmy Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Javier Ackerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Cagle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Javier Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burr Ridge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Ackerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Crowley's Kent Mabry got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Kent Mabry off the ground. Kent Mabry hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Jarvis Horn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Sanders was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 88 minutes into the game, Tobias Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burr Ridge FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crowley the free kick. After a rather tough play, Burr Ridge FC's Tobias Hernandez got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Jarvis Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Crowley's Jimmy Sanders got control of the ball when Jarvis Horn tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Crowley fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Burr Ridge FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
