Levittown United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darius Uster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Blum in the 8th minute of play forced Levittown United's goalkeeper Shawn Peachey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levittown United's Patrick Collier got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yong Velasquez during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Yong Velasquez hit a great ball. Jacques Matson, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Patrick Collier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jose Salinas made a huge save. Levittown United's Jermaine Wesley got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jermaine Wesley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Salinas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Blum in the 41st minute of play forced Levittown United's goalkeeper Shawn Peachey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Levittown United's Dario Bledsoe got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Andy Blum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Shawn Peachey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Andy Blum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half FC Barcelona were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jermaine Wesley to strike the kick off in the second half. If Andy Blum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yong Velasquez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. When Jermaine Wesley came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Levittown United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jermaine Wesley couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Darius Uster managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Darius Uster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shawn Peachey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Patrick Collier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Salinas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Collier went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Eusebio Lester's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Lester helped the player get up and apologised. Eusebio Lester hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Darius Uster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Peachey having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dwight Landrum got free with Shawn Peachey in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Jermaine Wesley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Salinas. Darius Uster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Shawn Peachey made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
