When Jacques Lyle came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the The Village FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacques Lyle couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Lane McRae made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Jacobsen. The Village FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vince Hare in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Jacobsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lane McRae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Jacobsen having to make a save. With a little luck, The Village FC's Hugo Jacobsen got control of the ball when Lane McRae tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, La Mitad Más Uno's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Lyle came free, but Marcos Madison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato McGowan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marcos Madison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Vince Hare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Jacobsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Jacques Lyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Madison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vince Hare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Village FC's zone, Lane McRae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Jacobsen came out of the goal and Lane McRae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Vince Hare made the kick off in the second half. Jacques Lyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Madison having to interfere. Vince Hare might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Jacobsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Hare ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute, Renato McGowan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Mitad Más Uno's Marcos Madison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Lyle in the 60th minute of play. Jacques Lyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Marcos Madison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Mitad Más Uno's zone, Jacques Lyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Madison came out of the goal and Jacques Lyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vince Hare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of La Mitad Más Uno booed when The Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Flint didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes The Village FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Flint. After having played for 89 minutes, Lane McRae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mitad Más Uno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lane McRae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Quentin Bishop shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Madison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Mitad Más Uno had won after a very even match.
