Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robbie Bradshaw kicked off to start the match. DeMarcus Culver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benny Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Torrington's zone, Jackson Sorenson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benny Rosenberg came out of the goal and Jackson Sorenson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th match minute, Almont AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wally Hollandsworth to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Von Barr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Titus Lawrence skillfully saved the ball. Donald Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Titus Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duke Howell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torrington! When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Almont AFC's Alex Woodall got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benny Rosenberg. 30 minutes into the game, Duke Howell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almont AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrington the free kick. After 31 played minutes Almont AFC got a freekick which was hit by Duke Howell. Benny Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Sorenson in the 34th minute of play. Torrington's Benny Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Sorenson in the 35th minute of play. Tim Frank hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Torrington's Von Barr in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Torrington's Donald Santana in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almont AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Torrington's Devon Zapata got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jackson Sorenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benny Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torrington's Benny Rosenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Torrington from getting a goal against them. Dan Tidwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jackson Sorenson to make the kick off. Donald Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Titus Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donald Santana struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Titus Lawrence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrington. Torrington's Benny Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Sorenson in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Ned Wilkes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almont AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrington the free kick. Ned Wilkes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Donald Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Titus Lawrence having to make a save. Almont AFC's Titus Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Almont AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 68thth minute of the game DeMarcus Culver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torrington's Benny Rosenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donald Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Jackson Sorenson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torrington's Benny Rosenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jackson Sorenson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almont AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jackson Sorenson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benny Rosenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Almont AFC booed when Torrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Tidwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, DeMarcus Culver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benny Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jackson Sorenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benny Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donald Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DeMarcus Culver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benny Rosenberg having to make a save. In the 94th match minute, Torrington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Von Barr to maneuver through the defense. Jackson Sorenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Rosenberg having to interfere. Almont AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
