After some careless play in the Plantation AFC defense, Tony Phelps kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Grayson. The Plantation AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Grayson should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Leroy Hand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Grayson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donald Santana in the 30th minute. Giuseppe Grayson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Bradshaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Leroy Hand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robbie Bradshaw was the one to do the kick off. Benny Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leroy Hand in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leroy Hand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benny Rosenberg was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Leroy Hand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Benny Rosenberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute Brian Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Grayson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plantation AFC's Giuseppe Grayson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Bradshaw in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Torrington getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Julio Akins hit a great ball. Giuseppe Grayson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Bradshaw's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Brian Potter notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Plantation AFC's Giuseppe Grayson. Giuseppe Grayson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Woodrow Odell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Robbie Bradshaw's late challenge caught a Plantation AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robbie Bradshaw helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Plantation AFC booed when Torrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Bradshaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Leroy Hand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Plantation AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
