Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Esteban McBride made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Robby Pierson sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Robby Pierson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bethlehem's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Pierson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban McBride breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rene Uhl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerold Conway was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Robby Pierson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Esteban McBride skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute Geraldo Good shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubin Alonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Uhl came free, but Rubin Alonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Good to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Aviles to maneuver through the defense. When Robby Pierson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Bethlehem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Pierson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bethlehem getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sal Knight hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's Robby Pierson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban McBride narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robby Pierson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban McBride having to interfere. Jerold Conway might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban McBride. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerold Conway ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerold Conway stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Pierson came free, but Esteban McBride reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerold Conway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Conway in the 56th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Esteban McBride to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bethlehem were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Mercedes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cary Eckert took the corner. 60 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Uhl came free, but Rubin Alonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Sal Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bethlehem and the Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Bethlehem got a freekick which was hit by Sal Knight. 65 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's Jerold Conway sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban McBride narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jerold Conway struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Esteban McBride didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bethlehem. Esteban McBride made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Conway in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Bethlehem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sal Knight didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Uhl in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubin Alonzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mercedes's Esteban McBride played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerold Conway in the 75th minute of play. If Geraldo Good had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Rene Uhl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes's zone, Jerold Conway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban McBride came out of the goal and Jerold Conway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
