After 5 minutes, Joshua Ricks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Merchant and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Real Merchant got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Ricks. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sung Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Richmond's supporters rose to their feet, but Sung Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Galloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Galloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theron Hope, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. AFC Richmond's Sung Walker got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Richmond's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Merchant the free kick. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leon Garland hit a great ball. AFC Richmond's Sung Walker has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 29th minute. Norbert Galloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Garland in the 31st minute of play. Sung Walker succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Norbert Galloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sung Walker's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Sung Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Norbert Galloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Richmond's Theron Hope got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sung Walker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norbert Galloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theron Hope in the 55th minute of play. Norbert Galloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sung Walker, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cody Epperson's late challenge caught a AFC Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cody Epperson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Real Merchant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Epperson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Zane Carr got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cody Epperson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Theron Hope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Richmond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theron Hope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's Sung Walker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Galloway narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Theron Hope might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Galloway. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theron Hope ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th match minute, Real Merchant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Mabry to maneuver through the defense. If Sung Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Galloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Escobar's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC Richmond had played much better football throughout.
