Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chelsea F.C.'s Donald Jaramillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Crowley in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristofer Drew saved Chelsea F.C. from getting behind. Pete Bates kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Donald Jaramillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymundo Jennings hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Coweta AFC booed when Chelsea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vern Hatcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merle Heller was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Donald Jaramillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristofer Drew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Banks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Merle Heller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coweta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea F.C. the free kick. After 61 played minutes Coweta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Merle Heller. When Donald Jaramillo fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea F.C.'s protests and gave Donald Jaramillo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chelsea F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Donald Jaramillo hit a great ball. Frankie Leary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Sharp having to interfere. Cliff Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Jaramillo in the 87th minute of play. If Donald Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
