Denis Urbina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ervin Moss made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Denis Urbina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ervin Moss, 1-0. Denis Urbina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ervin Moss having to interfere. Ricardo Alonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Alonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Shoemaker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Alonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ervin Moss having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Denis Urbina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ervin Moss was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
