Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfonzo Talley started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Laurel Bay FC's goalkeeper Geoff Coker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merrill Thayer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waylon Mackey got free with Geoff Coker in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sydney Frost stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Randall Hager's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Sinton's Sydney Frost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randall Hager in the 23rd minute of play. Geoff Coker was a little too slow when Jake Jeffers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Laurel Bay FC's goalkeeper Geoff Coker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waylon Mackey. After 45 minutes, Wayne Shirley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laurel Bay FC and the Sinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wayne Shirley hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Laurel Bay FC's Randall Hager in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sinton's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waylon Mackey made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sinton's goalkeeper Sydney Frost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randall Hager. After a defensive mix-up in Sinton's zone, Randall Hager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Frost came out of the goal and Randall Hager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sinton booed when Laurel Bay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonzo Talley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merrill Thayer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geoff Coker. Laurel Bay FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jake Jeffers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoff Coker having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Waylon Mackey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geoff Coker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 85 minutes into the game, Waylon Mackey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Geoff Coker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Randall Hager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Frost having to interfere. Sydney Frost came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Laurel Bay FC's Randall Hager. But to his dismay, Randall Hager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Sinton's Trinidad Wilkins got a free kick in the 95th minute. Alfonzo Talley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Frost having to interfere.
