A collision led to Huxley getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jarvis Paulson hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Jarvis Paulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Francesco Justice managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huxley's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Justice was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robin Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarvis Paulson's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. A collision led to Raton AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Brendon Henry hit a great ball. The long shot by Vicente Keller in the 33rd minute really tested Boyce Dougherty's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Raton AFC's zone, Jarvis Paulson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Hong came out of the goal and Jarvis Paulson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Francesco Justice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huxley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Justice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarvis Paulson was the one to do the kick off. Francesco Justice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Hong having to interfere. If Jarvis Paulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Justice scored 0-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarvis Paulson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Robin Hong made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarvis Paulson got free with Robin Hong in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raton AFC's Robin Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Raton AFC from getting a goal against them. Francesco Justice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarvis Paulson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Robin Hong 86 minutes into the match. Jarvis Paulson came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robin Hong could save by the left post. When the match was over Huxley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Raton AFC throughout the match.
