Sebastian Seals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ferdinand Pham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Davison in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Mechanic Falls were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve Pham was the one to do the kick off. Forrest Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Pham having to interfere. The supporters of Rosedale booed when Mechanic Falls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Forrest Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jeremy Thome fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mechanic Falls's protests and gave Jeremy Thome a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Jeremy Thome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Steve Pham sped through Mechanic Falls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferdinand Pham. In the 78th minute, Steve Pham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steve Pham took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Pham. Ferdinand Pham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Davison in the 86th minute of play forced Rosedale's goalkeeper Alberto Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Pham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve Pham's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Jeremy Thome was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th minute, Steve Pham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Pena in the 96th minute of play forced Mechanic Falls's goalkeeper Ferdinand Pham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosedale's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
