Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shayne Simon made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jefferson Penn during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brendon Lutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Love, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Theo Calderon's late challenge caught a Chino AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theo Calderon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chino AFC booed when Momentum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Sanford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. From a short distance, Chino AFC's Shayne Simon, in the 52nd minute, tried to place the ball behind Brendon Lutz, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. When Tristan Buck came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Chino AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Buck couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Sanford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Robertson having to interfere. 67 minutes in the game, Shayne Simon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brendon Lutz having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Momentum got a freekick which was hit by Rex Wong. In the 78th minute, Aaron Talley sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Momentum's Brendon Lutz didn't even have to move. Merlin Love came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Brendon Lutz could save by the left post. If Shayne Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Shayne Simon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chino AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shayne Simon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shayne Simon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Brendon Lutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Momentum's Brendon Lutz got control of the ball when Merlin Love tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chino AFC played a much better game than Momentum and deserved their victory. The Momentum players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
