Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lansdale's Joseph McKay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco Hathaway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph McKay in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lansdale's goalkeeper Brant Hinton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brant Hinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Stapleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Troy Landrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sheridan Beach AFC's Randell Kyle got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Jeramy Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brant Hinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Stapleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Lansdale's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Wilhelm came free, but Brant Hinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Troy Landrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lansdale's zone, Rob Stapleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brant Hinton came out of the goal and Rob Stapleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Rod Wilhelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Hinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Troy Landrum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marco Hathaway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brant Hinton came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Sheridan Beach AFC's Rob Stapleton. But to his dismay, Rob Stapleton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lansdale's Brant Hinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Stapleton in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Wilhelm in the 46th minute of play forced Lansdale's goalkeeper Brant Hinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Rob Stapleton notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Lansdale's Brant Hinton. Brant Hinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob Stapleton was the one to do the kick off. Brant Hinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Stapleton in the 55th minute of play. Marco Hathaway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Landrum, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Luis Joiner hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Marco Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph McKay in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Lansdale booed when Sheridan Beach AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dillon Foster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes, Lansdale's Jesus Maxwell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Hathaway came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lansdale reached it. Rod Wilhelm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Brant Hinton made a huge save. The supporters of Sheridan Beach AFC booed when Lansdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Califf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Odell Payne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brant Hinton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brant Hinton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otis Francis during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Otis Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph McKay in the 85th minute of play. Rod Wilhelm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Brant Hinton made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randell Kyle during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rod Wilhelm got free with Brant Hinton in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Lansdale supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sheridan Beach AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sheridan Beach AFC.
