Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristopher Pierce got the match started through his kick off. Bernie Fontenot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Bachman having to interfere. Bernie Fontenot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernie Fontenot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Lawrence Bachman made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Frederick's zone, Cristopher Crusher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Bachman came out of the goal and Cristopher Crusher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Black Forest AFC's Bernie Fontenot in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frederick's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Marshall Hager cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cristobal McDaniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernie Fontenot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Bernie Fontenot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Black Forest AFC's Cristobal McDaniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bruner in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Bernie Fontenot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Forest AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 45th play minutes Bernie Fontenot shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Lawrence Bachman and just under the crossbar into goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When Marshall Butler fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frederick's protests and gave Marshall Butler a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frederick fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Black Forest AFC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vincenzo Wall, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Frederick's Lawrence Bachman. 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernie Fontenot in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lawrence Bachman saved Frederick from getting behind. Lawrence Bachman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernie Fontenot's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernie Fontenot in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lawrence Bachman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68thth minute of the game Bernie Fontenot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frederick's Lawrence Bachman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sol Voss struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Lawrence Bachman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Forest AFC. Bernie Fontenot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Black Forest AFC's Cristobal McDaniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Doyle in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lawrence Doyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal McDaniel was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bernie Fontenot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Forest AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernie Fontenot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Bachman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Lawrence Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal McDaniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Kristopher Pierce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal McDaniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Frederick's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Fontenot came free, but Lawrence Bachman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Kristopher Pierce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernie Fontenot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lawrence Bachman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
