Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felix Nichols made the kick off which started today's match. Ben Knutson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Carpenter having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Los Gatos FC's zone, Ben Knutson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Carpenter came out of the goal and Ben Knutson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guy Carpenter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Knutson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marlon Cross hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Davis Ali sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Taylor skillfully saved the ball. Rick Adams might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Taylor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rick Adams ran back to his position shaking his head. South Sarasota AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Roberto Brown scored to the left of an out of position Denis Taylor, making the score, 1-0. Rick Adams might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Taylor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rick Adams ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Brown recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Gatos FC's Rick Adams got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ben Knutson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Carpenter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Guy Carpenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Knutson in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Roberto Brown recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Taylor. Roberto Brown showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Reggie Valdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Sarasota AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reggie Valdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rick Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Gatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Adams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Brown was the one to do the kick off. Los Gatos FC's Guy Carpenter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Nichols in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of South Sarasota AFC booed when Los Gatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariah Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Felix Nichols's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Carpenter was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, Brady Michael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Gatos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Sarasota AFC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Los Gatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Brady Michael. Los Gatos FC's Guy Carpenter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Nichols in the 60th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Roberto Brown who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Sarasota AFC's Denis Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Roberto Brown had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Brown sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Los Gatos FC's goalkeeper Guy Carpenter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Knutson. In the 80th match minute, Los Gatos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariah Murillo to maneuver through the defense. Guy Carpenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Nichols in the 87th minute of the match. When Los Gatos FC's Roberto Brown in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Sarasota AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd match minute, South Sarasota AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Romano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Rick Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Gatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Adams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
