Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mike Duran made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Rick Adams notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lisle's Errol Vincent. Errol Vincent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mike Duran hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Guy Carpenter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Duran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rick Adams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lisle's zone, Roberto Brown stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errol Vincent came out of the goal and Roberto Brown tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Errol Vincent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Brown, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Rick Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Gatos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rick Adams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Rick Adams cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Errol Vincent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38thth minute of the game Mike Duran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Gatos FC's Guy Carpenter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Randolph Faulkner's late challenge caught a Los Gatos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Randolph Faulkner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Randolph Faulkner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Brown to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Porter Schneider shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guy Carpenter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Los Gatos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Duran came free, but Guy Carpenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Roberto Brown dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Errol Vincent, 0-3. Alan Ayers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Carpenter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the game's 63rd minute Lisle's Adalberto Novak took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Guy Carpenter and thus the score was 1-3. Mike Duran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guy Carpenter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Gatos FC booed when Lisle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Matson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davis Ali during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Gatos FC! After having played for 81 minutes, Alan Ayers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Ayers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guy Carpenter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Duran in the 96th minute of play. The Los Gatos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Gatos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
