Benito Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Brown in the 14th minute of play. Paris-Saint-German's Benito Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Paris-Saint-German from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes Paris-Saint-German's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davis Ali who took care of the corner kick. After 26 minutes of play, Paris-Saint-German's Antony Jarrell made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guy Carpenter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Roberto Brown shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Lawrence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Jarrell took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guy Carpenter. Guy Carpenter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Benito Lawrence made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rick Adams in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tod Hilliard during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paris-Saint-German getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tod Hilliard hit a great ball. With a little luck, Paris-Saint-German's Benito Lawrence got control of the ball when Rick Adams tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After some careless play in the Paris-Saint-German defense, Roberto Brown kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Lawrence. The Paris-Saint-German fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Lawrence should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Jarrell in the 88th minute of play forced Los Gatos FC's goalkeeper Guy Carpenter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Roberto Brown had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Lawrence. Paris-Saint-German's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Brown was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2.
